Slowly but surely, we're making progress

We're praising God for some encouraging progress in the translation of the Bible for the Jita people. We recently finished the final checks for the books of Galatians, Colossians, 2 Peter, and Jude! Right now, we're deep into the Gospel of Matthew. It's such a huge book, but it's so beautiful. It tells the story of Jesus, the Messiah, who proclaims the good news of God's kingdom for all nations, even the Jita people.

In addition to that, we also recorded a few books of the Bible so that people can listen to God's Word in the Jita language. People enjoy listening on their phones or on solar-powered players.

Please pray for us as we continue to check the translation of Matthew in the Jita language. Pray that we would make it clear, accurate, and natural. Pray also that we would find more excellent Jita readers so that we can record more books as audio Scriptures. Finally, please pray for Neema, one of the Jita translators. She has been so sick recently that she is only able to work part-time. Pray for healing and strength.
