Jita pastors need Jita Titus

Final check of Titus in the Jita and Kabwa languages
Recently we finished the book of Titus in the Jita language! Drafted, checked, double-checked and triple-checked. It's full of good news for the Jita people.
But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by his grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
This was a new experience for me because I not only checked the book in the Jita language, I also checked it in the Kabwa language. Here is verse 4 of the same section of Titus in Kabwa:
Nawe, Waryubha Omutuurya weetu, akatooryokya ega, weeki m-muserenʼya na atuhanjiri bhukongʼu, akatutuurya.
There is always a shortage of Translation Advisors around here because we're working with eight languages. I normally focus on Jita but since I had just studied Titus, we thought I should use that experience in the Kabwa text. I worked with the Kabwa translators - Meja and Masige - to make sure that the text was clear, accurate and natural. After I finished my Advisor checks for both Jita and Kabwa, both teams met together with our Consultant for our final Consultant check.

Now, Jita and Kabwa pastors can read about God's design for church leadership, how to discern false doctrine, and how the gospel of grace motivates us to do good works. Please pray with us for the Jita and Kabwa peoples and their churches and pastors.
